Single train models cost about $29.90 to $39.90, depending on
what gimmicks it has. For my second MTR EMU, it has motor sounds,
so it's $39.90. Luckily it was a gift. If you're getting it in
Singapore, wait for discounts. I know OG now got 20%.
Er... Would be better if you go to KL. Bangkok had far cheaper
trains 2 years ago (like $20 for a full set with tracks and
what-not) but I think the factory shifted to China, so yeah.
I do about 1 side of the train for each step each night, but the
paint dries up in about half an hour or less, so it is possible to
do it within half a day, just that I can't be bothered to do
marathon painting.
