IIRC, KCD had provisions for facilities for 2 separate operations of lines... Can't remb where i saw it though...

Alstom Metropolis C751A train. IMO the design looks quite nice anyway, just hope they run efficiently.

I believe like what ^tamago^ say, a likelihood of them sharing the same signal systems, probably they run in a similar way like NSL + EWL.

I still prefer uniformity.

They should have something similar to the Kawasaki trains.

but if common sense is used can surely tell that SMRT will be operating the DTL since DTL will also be served partly by the Kim Chuan Depot and the Kim Chuan Depot is also used to serve CCL, which the tender to operate is won by SMRT.

Nope. It's not necessary that the company that operate CCL will operate DTL. While it will be most convenient for the operators of both lines to be the same, nothing is there to imply the impossibility of having different operators under the same roof at KCD, serving 2 separate lines... :)

Bombardier is a Canadian company. I prefer Japan-brand trains though.

It appears that not everyone here is a Japanese train model enthusiast.

If it was, we could even petition to have all future lines to have rolling stock of Japanese origin.

I do know of one dissident who dislikes the MRT lines because the rolling stock is Japanese.
