Today while onboard 073/074 twrds PSR, there was a couple that
boarded the train at Simei, then the women said to the man that the
removal of seats were not good, and "suppose to have more ppl
standing but it looks like less ppl are standing than the original
seating" - smth like that.
This isn't the 1st time I'm hearing complaints abt the
replacement of bars instead of seats. Last sat, I was onboard
071/072 twrds JUR and a grp of young adults entered the train at
Tampines, and were complaining about the replacement of the
bars.
Although the extra standing space is not so good during
non-peak, but I find that during peak hr it is especially
useful.
