Bus Stops erected at Benoi Rd

I can just say that the newly erected bus stop is the longest in Singapore and most likely the existing one will be replaced by the longer bus stop.

considering that this bus stop is along Benoi Road, it is most likely the boarding and alighting bus stop for the future Joo Koon Bus Terminal which is marked with the red star in this map.

the yellow-coloured road in the middle of the map is Benoi Road in case you are wondering,

Empty trains are heading to Joo Koon n back to Boon Lay for boarding today...

Not sure what will happened tml...

Today still has many people try to board train at Westbound platform.

Eastbound platform very crowded during AM Peak, but train frequency improved

more trains are deployed on ewl from this wk onwards in view of BLE..... but for nsl, its svc has been declining.....

The faregates for entrance to station also change with those for exits one but those if one want to alight at JP side, they need to cut across those going up the escalator

like you mentioned, more trains are deployed on the EWL so naturally NSL will feel abit of the "pinch"..

SMRT will be purchasing another 22 more trains soon so things should be back to normal..
