i have an old letter here, its written in traditional chinese.

although i am a chinese, i am weak in my mother tongue language. I can't recognize many chinese characters.

therefore i would appreciate if anyone could help me out by translating its contents into english.

This letter is written in cursive Fan Ti script of Chinese address to a second brother. The letter will be disjointed as I can't see the full word due to the cursive scritp.

Second Brother:

When I last recieved your letter, word has spread in your China hometown...

I can only make out some parts of the letter due to the folding and shadows.
