C651's GTO-VVVF motor is very distinct and different from the rest. I'll try to get a recording if I can.

I have one good news and 1 bad news xD.

Good News is, i took a C651 just now.

Bad News is... it is the EWL and not the NSL.

Set No: 2216

Clementi station at 11:10am.

It terminated at Boon Lay though.

terminate as in fully end service.

The glossy finish was more than half gone, maybe due to long usage.

That is a unrefurbished C151. Well lucky you, getting to take a unrefurb :) I just took 075/076 today too. Hahaha.

C651 will be

x201 to x238.

Don't need to see the first number. See the last three number so that you'll know you are in a siemens. :)

Siemens don't have ad :P 075/076 has a Sony Ericsson ad.

I think Refurbished C151s are the ones whose seats are removed.

But sadly, I did not spot any unrefurbished C151 train on NSL, not even a single spotting today.

069/070 and 075/076 should be frequenting NSL nowadays. Just took them within this week.

impossible, unless you take the train until batok or gombak.

refurbished very common liao.
