Superbus SG It should be 'may' rather than 'will'. The speculation arises after SMRT was invited as a potential operator for the upcoming Johor Bahru rail transit system. With the IDR announced soon after that, it makes sense to them to allow the MRT system to be extended to serve the IDR, since Singaporeans working there are supposedly 'treated' as locals also.
sBs_boy SG That will never happen. Yes, the IDR is targetting at Singaporeans. But at the end of the day, it is still other ppl's land. Why shld the Singapore Govt spend Singaporeans tax payers money to build project that will benefit other countries ?
hiphop2009 SG well, with annoucment of DTL, eastern region line, thomson line, no sig of MRT going into Johor yet. Maybe thomson line will be a hint , since it links directly to the city. LOL. i bet north shore line will be up first.
