Maybe Buangkok stn should have more station entrance/exit to facilitate more people instead of taking a bus to the station.

That's why the unopened Buangkok MRT Stn have some 'white elephants'.
Any idea about Woodleigh MRT Stn, will it be opened in mid-2006, or even 2007?

There is Bidadari Christian Cemetery nearby this Woodleigh MRT Stn.

FYI, they are still exhuming (there is a targetted date when it will end...I think eithe yr 2006 or yr 2007)...it's not entirely GONE.

But yes, it will be used for development.

I wonder will the opening of Buangkok Stn affect the ridership of 27? Since 27 duplicates with NEL (more or less), from Buangkok Stn until Hougang Stn (where 27 terminates at Hougang Central Int).

As for 43, I don't believe it will affect much.

Guys, what are your views?

I suspect that 43 may have better ridership as commuters from Buangkok MRT can take 43 from there to Sengkang Ctrl and Buankok area instead of taking 43 from Sengkang or Serangoon. For 27, i dont think it will affect much just that there may be less pax from HGCTRL Buangkok while the pax will board back @ Buangkok to continue with their journey to Sengkang or Tampines/Airport and pax will alight @ Buangkok for MRT if they dont want to walk a long distance to MRT @ Sengkang. My thoughts: More or less HGCtrl Buangkok stretch of reoad for Sv27 may have less pax.

sekali buangkok station will see a sv115 style of feeder service, assisting part of 27, just like Punggol 84.

Anyway, let us just give the station a chance to proof itself of its opening!

27 will not be affected lah. mostly, people board frm HG/SK to TAM/Airport. moreover, it gives passengers frm HG connection to TAM(areas not served by 72).

if a resident living at Hougang near to Buangkok Station misses the train, isnt it as good as taking the next train and alighting at Hougang and walking back home? den might as well not open the station rite?
