I went to see the situation. Not that bad. Cos there were helpers around. Also, at every station,, there are notices and the board which shows the frequency also saes that the train ends @ Outram Park.

From This.. You can see the difference between how SBST treat Trains Communter and how SMRT treat Train passengers..

SGEMP SG

Is it......

You mean........SBST is better as compared to SMRT?

Frankly speaking, SBST is better in all aspects.

It has newer and faster buses and trains, its stations very well designed, its connections very good and its staffs are professional, from my observations.

SGEMP SG

Is the arrangement over already or still ongoing?

sbst275 SG

Of course train sv they are better, but not buses

sinicker SG

faster buses? no lah. SMRT win hands-down for that.

stations well-designed? pls lah.. not SBST design one.. LTA design one.

connections very good? of coz.. it has more areas/territorial space to play with here and there.

We shall wait for Circle Line to come before we can make more conclusions. Wink

sbst275 SG

Even faster buses for SMRT, their loading capacity cannot beat SBS

In fact, I find that ownself assembled buses have higher capacity

sbst275 SG

Even if demand is high, they would face constraints as of the smaller carriage
