Actually, no need to serve HarbourFront. Just Upgrade the whole mornorail and change the car to the air-con type of cars. I like the past Sentosa, got ferry to serve passangers from HarbourFront to Sentosa within 2 minutes.

yea, it probably have to be underground. dont think they would like to let it come out of the ground right after Harbourfront just to cross the sea to sentosa...the only thing about underground is can't see the scenary, but continuing the MRT for one station to reach there would be very convenient and would definitely bring more pple there.

anyways, with the sentosa express lrt, it is impossible they would built a Sentosa MRT station. wonder why they didnt want to do it, extend the NEL or CCL or something.. not enough demand? Monorail LRT can see scenary..also fine.

dont know, they say actual schedule of when would depend on state of economy, availability of funding and how fast they can complete the technical studies. but i hope they could complete these lines within 10 to 15 yrs.

for JRL maybe it wouldnt be too long, since it would benefit almost all NTU students going there, so has demand......
just guessing.......

to reply muziq bus, Sentul might have been Soo Teck (PW7). There'll be new roads named Sentul Link after Punggol Way. This is reflected on Mightyminds street directory.

Punggol East will get new roads too, named Tebing.

Like small town (Bukit Panjang, Sengkang and Punggol), Jurong west (or Taman Jurong) will build LRT to serve residence there. And maybe it wil connect to Boon Lay. Just a guess.

in concept 21 plan i saw the rail system from boon lay connected the pioneer road, jurong island, tuas bus interchange, tuas south and even a link to choa chu kang…. hmmmmmmm

There are plans for it but it is not confirmed. For LIM CHU KANG NEW TOWN.....a little bird told me that plans might be scrapped and the place will be a reserved area first.

Lim Chu Kang should be quite impossible... lucky neo tiew esate not a HDB area liao or else might have LRT link to there... Laughing

Lim Chu Kang and Neo Tiew estates are not HDB estates, more like farm area, so no need LRT. But can increase the bus services. Only 3 service operates there...
