Do u think this MRT Line is necessary? or redundant?

when do u think they will announced the stations, will it be anytime soon

After all during the announce of Downtown extension, hints of routes of part of the BTL and ERL had been given...

I think the main purpose of constructing the BTL (Bukit-Timah Line) is to serve residence living at Bukit Timah & Holland area and transport them to downtown.

It can also bring pple living in other areas to go to Bukit Timah and Bukit Panjang area in a shorter time.....

if this line is not built, then from Adam station it is not possible to go directly to the city

jus hope inside ngee ann den everyday dun need to cross bridge walk into the building so far.. yea… by the time they built finish i also grauduate liao… seems like bukit panjang got lrt no space to built mrt liao lei…

Not sure of this, but if they do built one station at Bukit Timah Plaza area, it would be quite near NP!!!

The likely interchange stations of Bukit Timah Line are Millenia(CCL), Bugis(EWL), Little India(NEL), Newton(NSL), and confirm interchange station is Adam(CCL).i think the line might basically follow the bukit timah road/upper bukit timah road, so it is Bukit Timah Plaza may has a station there

The Government has announced plans to build three new lines, namely the Bukit Timah Line, the Eastern Region Line and the Jurong Region Line.

The three lines are estimated to cost more than S$11 billion and will be built within the next 10 to 15 years. While the Government will try to expedite the development of these three projects, the actual schedule will depend on the state of the economy, which determines funding availability, and how fast we can complete the engineering and technical studies.

The Bukit Timah Line will serve the Bukit Panjang, Upper Bukit Timah and Bukit Timah regions. The line will alleviate the heavy traffic in the Upper Bukit Timah/Bukit Timah/Dunearn Road corridor.

Which line do u think is more urgent and should be built first? Eastern Region Line or Bukit Timah Line?

Both are urgent, IMO. One serve Bukit Timah and one serve Marine Parade.

Very Happy But i dont think there is demand. Buses from MArine Parade links to everywhere. Sad
However, if there is, it would be convienient for me!

They must well built every MRT/LRT stations at every cormer of the island so people won’t complaint but our tax will sure rise one and maybe Singapore would sink??

But then this line will be along Dunearn?Bukit Timah, will it cause lots of inconvenience? Lots of schools and private housing, see now Upp Bt Timah do road widening so ma fan liaoz...
