It seems dat SMRT is tryin to increase standin space in the train. Cabin 1236, 2236.....have part of its seats removed, new glass panel for the doors as well.

Dere are also train cabin wif no seats...only got butt support....dunno da rego though

And as majority knows, lrt seats has been removed..... my sentiments is that, more standees means more profits. also, ppl refuse to move to the centre.

Yes, the luggage racks at some Kawasaki 2000 trains has been removed, leaving a lot of standing space.

A question : How come the Kawasaki 2000 trains stopped serving the CGA line ? the CGA line now all use the 1988 trains, too old. I know how to spot the Kawasaki 2000 trains that is formally serving CGA. If the train has more standing spaces that it does, thats the one. Because SMRT remove the luggage racks and left a large standing space. I think what SMRT has done is WRONG.
