Not sure if i understand you correctly but the financial storm here is the result of by the financial meltdown in U.S. and not due to SPH’s investments.

This glc-sph seems be looking for new avenues to augment their profits that are derived from property investments. Are other glcs doing the same here ?

how come wages of the workers are cut so as to maintain the profits for shareholders; workers are also badly affected by the downdown.
