SINGAPORE: Several roads and lanes will be closed on
Sunday when the National Day Rally is held at the National
University of Singapore's University Cultural
Centre.
The affected roads are:
1) The extreme left lane of Clementi Road in the direction of
West Coast Ferry Road
2) The extreme right lane of Clementi Road in the direction of
Bukit Timah Road Kent Ridge Crescent (between Clementi Road and
College Link)
3) Engineering Drive 1 (between Kent Ridge Crescent and
Engineering Drive 3)
The closure is from 2.30 pm to midnight on Sunday.
Auxiliary police officers and police officers will be deployed at
the affected junctions to assist and direct motorists.
Public bus services affected by the road closures will be diverted
accordingly.
About 1,600 guests are expected to attend the event.
