Temporary Closure of Orchard Turn

To facilitate ERP gantry maintenance works, the stretch of Orchard Turn entrance from Orchard Boulevard before Wisma Atria, will be temporarily closed to traffic on 25 September 2008 from 12am to 5am.

Traffic affected by this closure will be diverted towards Paterson Road.

Information signs will be placed along the affected roads to inform motorists of the works ahead.

Temporary Closure of PIE (Changi) between Woodsville Flyover and Paya Lebar Road

To facilitate the launching of beams for a pedestrian bridge across Pelton Canal, the stretch of PIE (Changi) between Woodsville Flyover and Paya Lebar Road will be temporarily closed to traffic on 7 October 2008 from 12am to 5am.

The slip road joining PIE (Changi) at Kallang Way will also be closed to traffic.

Motorists affected by the closures are advised to take the following alternative routes:

Route 1:
Use Exit 13B to Kallang Way, head to Aljunied Road, Geylang East Central and Paya Lebar Road to re-join PIE (Changi).

Route 2:
Use exit to Sims Ave and take Paya Lebar Road to re-join PIE (Changi).

Motorists travelling to MacPherson Road, Aljunied Road, Geylang Road and the KPE will not be affected by the road closures.

To facilitate maintenance works, the slip road from Chin Swee Road to CTE (towards SLE) will be temporarily closed to traffic on 14 October 2008 from 12am to 1am.

Motorists travelling along Chin Swee Road are advised to take the "Merchant Road - New Bridge Road - Upper Cross Street" route as an alternative to enter the CTE (towards SLE).

To facilitate maintenance works, the slip road exit from ECP (AYE) to Keppel Road [Exit 18] will be temporarily closed to traffic on 22 October 2008 from 2am to 5am.

Motorists affected by the road closure are advised to take the ECP exit slip road to Prince Edward Road [Exit 17] and use Shenton Way as an alternative route to Keppel Road.

Road closures for SGX Bull Run 2008

Several roads within the CBD will be closed from 3 to 8pm on Friday to facilitate the annual charity event, SGX Bull Charge 2008.

They include Connaught Drive, Finlayson Green and Esplanade Drive in the direction of Nicoll Highway.

Police advise motorists to avoid the affected area, including all peripheral roads leading to the area.

They warn that parking restriction along the peripheral roads will be strictly enforced.

Vehicles found parking illegally and causing obstruction will be towed away.

SBS and SMRT buses serving the affected roads will be diverted during this period.
