Junction Improvement Works at TPE (PIE) Slip Road
/ Upper Changi Road North
The Land Transport Authority will be carrying out junction
improvement works at TPE (PIE) slip road and Upper Changi Road
North from end
August 2008 to 2nd Quarter 2009.
The works involve constructing a 2-lane left turn slip road from
TPE (PIE) to Upper Changi Road North, one additional lane along
Upper Changi Road East, and other ancillary works.
The junction improvement, when completed, is expected to
increase the capacity and improve the traffic flow in the area.
To facilitate the road widening, some trees will be affected.
LTA will work closely with the National Parks Board (NParks) to
remove / transplant these trees whenever possible. LTA will also
work with NParks to landscape the completed section of the new road
progressively.
We will ensure that inconvenience to motorists and other road
users is kept to a minimum during the construction period.
