Widening of Eunos Link and Jalan Eunos from
Airport Road to Sims Avenue
The Land Transport Authority (LTA) has awarded a $28.5
million contract to Or Kim Peow Contractors Pte Ltd for the
widening of Eunos Link and Jalan Eunos from Airport Road to Sims
Avenue.
The contract involves the widening of Eunos Link and Jalan Eunos
from a dual three-lane carriageway to a dual four-lane carriageway.
It also includes the construction of drainage works, upgrading of
street furniture and landscaping works.
Two existing pedestrian overhead bridges across Eunos Link near
Bedok Reservoir Road will be re-constructed with new ramps. A new
covered pedestrian overhead bridge with ramps will also be
constructed at Eunos Link in front of Eunos Technolink to
facilitate pedestrian crossing in the area.
When the contract is completed around 4th Quarter 2010, the
public will enjoy smoother traffic flow during peak hours when
travelling between Hougang Ave 3 and Still Road.
