Transport and was established on 1 September 1995. LTA takes care

-- EZ-Link Pte Ltd was formed on 8 January 2002and responsible for
the sale, distribution and management of ez-link Cards. EZ-Link
cards are now selling at all Transitlink offices at bus

-- SBS Transit was formed in 1973 through the merger of three
private bus companies. In November 1997, Singapore Bus Service
(1978 ) Limited was renamed DelGro Corporation Limited (Now
ComfortDelGro Corporation Limited). Singapore Bus Services Limited
changed its name to SBS Transit Ltd in November 2001 to reflect its
bi-modal status as a bus and rail operator.

-- SMRT Corporation Ltd (SMRT) is a company with MRT, LRT, buses
and taxis as its business. It offers public transport services in
Singapore through its subsidiaries. SMRT buses and SMRT Taxis were
taken over bt the former Trans-Island Bus Services Ltd.
