Sorry for that mistake Embarassed . This toilet forum is to set up to talk on toilets issues as you can see all the topic post here are related to toilets and not off topic. Toilets is also part of our daily lives which we uses it everyday and can discuss about. I also do not want to increase my post count for now even though last time I was like that. I welcome your suggestion and hope you can post it again on your views on this forum or toilets. Others are also welcomed Smile

we have toilets almost everywhere. and on almost every floor.

it is very different in hong kong. the toilets are all locked up. you need to get keys from the shops in shopping malls. i find it so inconvenient. and toilets are very limited in hong kong.

i wonder how the ladies cope. we have lots of toilets and the gals are already queuing up to use them.

i once went to a small town in china, and when i ask for toilet in that small restaurant, that guy tell me "go out from the main exit, turn right and go inside the back alley, u can see a bucket there". And there it was, a bucket half full of yellowish urine.......
And i already get used to stopping on expressway road side and pee on the grassland.
And ya, some toilets dun have doors.
But in big cities, most of the shopping center and restaurant have decent toilets.

in less developed areas of Peninsula Malaysia:

the squat pan do not have a pond of water inside and without any flush cistern like in Singapore. I can only see a small hole filled with a little water inside the squat pan. thats all...i guess you have to use a pail of water for flushing.

In Korea :
The squat pan is rather special. the flush water lever is located on the floor and is located right in front of the toilet cubicle door hence user can use their legs to activate the flush by stepping on it.

saw in the news on TV many years back: As there’s severe shortage of female toilet cubicles at that time, ladies were allowed to enter the men’s public toilet in Taiwan!

Why not a toilet forum? The forums are all about usual topics, why not something like a toilet? The more unusual and crazier, the better. Yes people, don't be afraid to set up new forums which deal with topics like the toilet or tooth brush collection, new ideas are welcome!

the auto in japan n in singapore r different.

the auto-tap in japan will continue to flow as long as your palms are near the sensor. singapore one sucks...u need to remove your palm and then put back again to get that pathetic flow of water. u need to do that 3 times to really rinse the handsoap away Evil or Very Mad

Yeah I agree with you too. When I use the auto tap I must put in and out my hands for so many times for the water to come out as it had stopped. So torublesome but it is better to have it than not having it Laughing
