Carvalho went down after a tackle by Bolton's Kevin Davies in the first half of Chelsea's 2-2 Premier League home draw with on Saturday and was substituted by Frank Lampard. Davies was booked.

'It's bad...it's his knee,' Mourinho said. 'He's been our best defender the whole season. It's as simple as that,' the Portuguese coach said. 'We lost in Liverpool in the Premiership without him.'

Chelsea's last Premier League defeat was by Liverpool in January.

Trust in Khalid and Essien bah. As long as Terry and Cech is there, should be not much prob. Get the offense more offensive and aggressive can liao. Await the return of Robben will do the trick.

innosaint SG

Damm.... as more bad news comes out! Terry not been the same after his triple injury.

I feel the same for cech too, though not as bad as terry.

Hope tis team holds out for at least 2 cups.

SumOne SG

You make it sounds as if title is conceded already. There's everything to play for in EPL.

Father Lim SG

there's hope for pool... Very Happy

Now let's just hope that he recovers after Pool beats Chelsea in the UCL semis...

stellazio SG

nah for me, the title is as good as over. we're getting weary as the match goes.

2 successive draws conceded the title.

i just hope we can win the ucl and fa cup, but losing one of our keyman. Neutral

Ah... Carvarlho... Out For Rest Of Season? Maybe a week or 2 only... But who knows, he may even play on tue... Sometimes just a tactic... But Ballack i belief is really out.

Since Gallas left, he is chelsea's best defender... He is like rio to man utd, a cool and smart defender... I have never thought Terry was a good defender in the first place, his take up position is usually off... In the past there was always Gallas to cover for him and this year got Carvarlho all season...

If chelsea really lose Carvarlho for tue's match... Then Blues fans better be afraid... Pool are on a roll, and at Anfield the pressure is going to be so much more that you will need a cool head like Carvarlho to defend...

SumOne SG

This has happened rather often, I quote one but the other replies.

Anyway, season is over for the guy. My point was that the season was not yet over for Chelsea as a team. Different thing yah?

supastrongnlong SG

& D person who injured him just get a "booking"? also went on 2 score.

If it's a ManUre player, i bet both my balls he'll be sent off & even receive a 3 match ban! Mad

SumOne SG

Erm.... how much are your balls worth? Since you're willing to bet them?

innosaint SG

In the End, a goal was concede in an area where Calvahlo would normally block off. Crying or Very sad

ghimpheng SG

tt time man united said that vidic was out of the rest of the season

seems like it is man united are the one lying about Vidic

and ballack Might be able to play last 1 or 2 games after surgery if enuff rest and permission from doctor

ghimpheng SG

zocoss actually such thing do happen

pple do return to injury earlier as expected and later as expected as well

look @ saha he was expected to return long ago but never did until now

same case for vidic and carvalho i don't think the club had lied it was the intial scan but some players receieve treatment and response to it well some help themselves by resting more and eat nutritional food and others to help

so hope you understand this is not lying or what @ least i think so
