Lassana Diarra has vowed to prove
himself at Chelsea after making peace with manager Jose
Mourinho.
The 21-year-old appeared to be on his way out of Stamford Bridge
last month following a run-in with his coach.
He turned up late for the FA Cup win over Macclesfield, prompting
Mourinho to hand the midfielder a severe dressing down.
Paris Saint Germain came in with a loan offer for Diarra in
January, but Mourinho called a halt to the deal at the 11th hour
and the pair have since made their peace.
"We had a long discussion and both made our point," Diarra told The
Sun.
"He did not promise I would be first choice but said I would get a
chance."
Diarra has been a regular starter in recent games and he is
determined to establish himself at Stamford Bridge.
He added: "Now I am starting in more matches and the team is also
winning.
"I have a contract at Chelsea and am staying."
