Real Madrid are targeting Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho as Fabio
Capello's successor next season.
The Sun says the Spanish giants would like Mourinho installed at
the end of the season and plan to snatch him from Chelsea.
Sources close to Capello claimed he offered his resignation ahead
of tonight's clash with Bayern Munich.
Real chiefs convinced Capello to stay for the vital Champions
League match but he will go if Bayern win the first leg of the
last-16 encounter.
The Italian will be replaced by B-team boss Michel as caretaker
until a permanent appointment is made.
