Chelsea are threatening to wreck Manchester United's plans to land Atletico Madrid striker Fernando Torres.
The People says Chelsea are confident they can seal a £25million deal for the Atletico Madrid striker in January.

That would be a huge blow for United manager Sir Alex Ferguson, who has spent the last couple of seasons tracking the Spanish international.

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is worried at relying too much on the goals of Didier Drogba and wants another option up front.

sign David Villa instead

Chelsea just wants to use its financial strength to :

1. Don't let the other teams get the best players.

2. Even if the oter teams manage to get the players, they have to pay premium fees.

3. Chelsea just want to have the best.

4. Just to generate more news. Otherwise EPL boring.
