My girlfriend and I are about to break up, not because of any
tension or anger in our relationship, but simply because we're
going separate ways to study.
Both of us were well aware that this would happen long before we
even started dating. Yet, as we reminisce about all that we've been
through, we both know that we don't have any regrets, except that
circumstances don't permit us to be together.
We don't quite take this as a break up, but rather a mere removing
of the 'couple' status from our friendship. It's something we've
both discussed together and agreed that it's whats best for the
both of us. Of course that doesn't make it any less painful as we
really do have deep feelings for each other.
Anyways, I want to get her a gift that says thank you for all the
great memories, and I hope we can still be friends forever. So what
would be the best thing to get her? I also plan to get her flowers
to go with the gift, so which ones are best for this
occasion?
Considering we're just students, please be practical in the ideas-
I don't have a 5-figure paycheck. And I would appreciate if you
would refrain from immature and childish or impractical
suggestions.
Thanks in advance.
Since the 2 of you don't plan to be together, then don't bother
giving each other anything. It will only make your hearts ache.
