Wrong.
Because the village (community) brings up the child, the
parents are just guardians.
Singapore has no more village and therefore one important
element of bring up a child is gone. No one teaches the child
proper communal or social behaviour anymore.
That child has grown up and spawn offsprings, that is even
more untutored on social and communal graces.
The next generation would be even worse.
But kudos to the rare parent that manages to successfully
inculcate good manners in their offsprings.
