martin_lim85 SG i cant believe there are so many ways to con ppl. phone, magic stones etc.... and today i almost got con from a calling travel agency called hong kong global trip. saying that i won 2nd prize for a USD$50k and i stupidly gave my name, bday and nric and lastly wanted my bank a/c...... but i hesitated for a monment and say oh i forgot my a/c no. and i ask her to call me back next day and gave me their webpage. and i hang up, then i realised something is wrong when i got into the webpage it says the webpage has been blocked by CAD due to fraud and i seek advice to 1 of the officers in my office. and he told me to call up the bank and check and notify them on the matter and i called up CAD too. but in the end,i could felt relief that as long as my money never give them its safe. haha wat a day for me.
laurence82 SG i didnt know CAD blocks websites anyway, got a lot of scams recently all over newspapers all kinds also got but to me, most of them are crystal clear, dont noe why people fall for them
