Who's going?
Having charmed dignitaries, fellow celebrities and fans alike
with sold out shows in Hong Kong, Thailand and twice in Malaysias
Genting, the four Asian divas finally come to Singapore Indoor
Stadium on 9th September with their first ever collaboration - the
much anticipated, one night only Four Asian Divas Live in
Singapore.
The four divas, consisting of Frances Yip, Anita Sarawak, Maria
Cordero and Elisa Chan , are legends in the Asian music industry,
well-known for their vocal virtuosity, excellent showmanship and
diversity in performing a wide music genre from jazz, blues, pop
and sentimental ballads and rock.
We are going to bring the place down. It promises to be an
unforgettable night. No one is going home disappointed, promised
Anita Sarawak. Having accumulated more than a century worth of
experience between them, the stage truly belongs to these four
Asian divas.
Frances Yip, "Asia's Leading Lady of Song" and synonymous with the
theme song from the Hong Kong drama Shanghai Bund, has performed
in over 30 countries across five continents and hardly needs any
more introduction. Anita Sarawak, who started her singing career in
Singapore, has not only made a name for herself in Asia, she even
landed a long term contract of nearly 20 years with the world
famous Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
Maria Cordero, famous for her signature song 'Yau Yee Ji Gwong',
has performed in sold-out shows all over the world from cities in
Asia to countless cities in Canada and the United States. Other
than singing, Maria is also a consummate actress, TV and radio
presenter and chef, with her own cooking show in Hong Kong. Another
Hong Kong diva, Elisa Chan never fails to mesmerize the crowd with
her energetic and lively stage presence. Like Maria, other than
singing, she also hosts and acts; including performing in the
popular stage musical drama I Have A Date With Spring.
Equally adept with both fast tracks and ballads, these four divas
is sure to entertain with their nostalgic non stop hits and
evergreens in Mandarin, English and Cantonese; dynamic, high-energy
dance and, of course, witty on stage batter and antics.
Four world class performers coming together for one night only
showcase, for the price of one ticket definitely makes the Four
Asian Divas Live in Singapore one concert well-worth its ticket
price.
