i almost did something like this too, two weeks ago.
parent and mi are talking abt going to thailand with my bro and
stuffs. so i got online in the office next day and one more click
to confirm payment and booking, and all of sudden feel like calling
my bro to confirm date Oct 12 to Oct 19. phew, luckily i didnt book
and called him first. he had cheaper deals.
