People need to stop trying to pull off 'poker face'

HyperionDCZ SG

Is anyone else as annoyed by the hoards of retards who think that they can pull off lady gaga's 'pokerface'? The original song is clearly some eurotrash-techno hybrid freak of nature. People who try to imitate that original version usually crash and burn. Then there are the clowns, who know that they can only sing a slower, more melodious version of the song. Even then, it sounds like shit because it differs so much from the original which doesnt have anything more than a catchy vibe anyway.

A lot of songs can be made into techno.

Even sentimental slow songs like Celine Dion's My Heart Will Go On.

So anything goes in techno.

You can sing Lady Gaga type songs for Singapore Idol?

Idol songs should be more mainstream rock / pop / sentimental / country etc.

my sentiments exactly! people keep trying to present lady gaga songs to the mainstream audience by toning them down but it never works!
