SPL is a good show man. if u noticed nowadays the shows, they
dont really have a good finishing touch. it always ends with a
scene that leaves the viewers pondering on the ending.
SPL is different IMO. they finished the show as a whole although it
was a bad ending where donny yen was thrown down the building.
Movies nowadays either gun fights or love story. not much hand to
hand hardcore fighting. see liao also sian. SPL's fighting scenes
were 1 of the best i've seen in the recent yrs. I have not catched
Dragon Tiger Gate yet but intend to watch it tml. Shows with good
fighting scenes are always nice to watch.
Good fighting scenes does not include matrix kind of fighting
whereby many CPU gfx were included. Good fighting scenes means the
actors actually do the fights themselves with only the help of a
"gang xian" Think of Ong Bak and Tom Yum Gong. cool fights
right.
