I was in Hiroshima yesterday for a scheduled tour of the Mazda
factory and museum.

That's the train I'll be taking at the top of the board, which
will be arriving next: the Hikari 491 Shinkansen, leaving
Shin-Osaka at 7:35 a.m. with stops at Shin-Kobe, Himeji, Okayama
and Fukuyama, before arriving at Hiroshima.

Arriving at the Hiroshima Shinkansen station, and then...

... switching to a local JR train for the ride to the Mukainada
station, where the Mazda headquarters were located.
Photography was not allowed on the factory floor (which was
truly a shame as that was certainly the most awe-inspiring aspect
of the entire visit) but I did manage to snap these images in the
lobby of their headquarters while waiting for the tour to
begin:

Woohoo! There's my baby right there! It's marketed as
the Axela in Japan, but sold as the Mazda3 in the US. Except for
the colour and driver's position, it's identical to what I
have.

The Atenza is one sharp looking vehicle...

... and that includes the view from the rear!

But wait! Here's proof that even Mazda isn't immune from putting
out the occasional butt-ugly vehicle.
And on to the museum:

This car's going to be my next winter beater.
