Meia Gisborn SG Guess it's time for a "Winter 2008/09" thread, what with the first snow of the season falling outside right now.South Dakota got hit pretty hard yesterday, with some areas reporting over 40" of snow on the ground, with drifts of over 10' in blizzard conditions. Here's hoping that MN doesn't experience something like that this winter!
Meia Gisborn SG I hear that you guys are just receiving your first snowfall of the year. Yup, the first of the season. But no accumulation is expected as the ground is still above freezing.
jetta SG Yup, the first of the season. But no accumulation is expected as the ground is still above freezing. How can you stand to live in such conditions? I know I'm not of hardy stock. Hats off. In the meantime, we are enjoying 90 degree weather here.
Meia Gisborn SG MG, I dusted off my coat and put it on today. Oh, my. Did the temperature in SD drop below 70°F today? It was 21°F outside this morning, so I threw on a sweater before heading out.
Meia Gisborn SG certain things you don't miss about pluto ..... Like the ability to store frozen food on a shelf in an unheated garage in winter?
Fatum SG Like the ability to store frozen food on a shelf in an unheated garage in winter? remember I was chucking beer out in the snow in the backyard .... okaaay ..... it's useful sometimes ...
Meia Gisborn SG Don't forget to add frozen over liquid detergent? Now why would anyone in his right mind store liquid detergent in a place where it would freeze??
Meia Gisborn SG ah MG so early start this thread neh. now we kena winter weather liao. LOL Don't complain if you're not doing your part in promoting global warming to delay the onset of winter...Remember to always ask yourself, "What can I do today to increase greenhouse gas emissions? How can I increase my carbon footprint?"
Meia Gisborn SG hmm.....promote global warming ah? let off gas count? Yes! Methane counts as a greenhouse gas... I think.
