I forego packing warm jackets for this trip, in favour of
bakguas & laksa mix.
Didnt realise that California may be free from snow, but beijing
gets terribly cold during this time of year.
Still, I figured that I will be waiting in the terminals so I
didnt borther bringing a decent jacket in my handcarry.
Unfortunately, the plane stops at the tarmac and we are to walk
down stairs and get into a bus that brings us to the terminals. It
was just a very breezy 12 degrees celsius. It got colder later at
night, but all I have was a t-shirt, light weight jeans, hicking
boots & a ultra thin cardigan.
I looked around me a the airport and everyone was at least in
long sleeve shirts and thick padded jacket. Thankfully, I didnt
shiver on the trip to the bus, the plane and waiting for the old
folks to mount the stairs, with multiple luggage in their
hands.
