actually u have to take these into consideration:
1) Research or Teaching Universities.
Depends on what type of student u are. If u dont like research
and prefer studying style, then its not wise to get into research
unis. Teaching unis will be better,
2) Subject combination
This is important as what type of subjects u wan to tudy. if u
need a broad based learning style like in Poly, then get into
courses which offer knowledge based subjects as opposed to
specialised subjects. Examples of such are e.g statistics and
mathematics like modules within a course is more specialised and
focus compared to a module like Economy or macro economics
3) Unis with more asian or ang moh
this depends on u. If u go to a uni with more ang moh, u are
expected to think diversely, communicate and come up with ideas. if
u go too unis with more asians, the studying environment may be
more tailored to asians.
4) Uni Branding
If u think the uni branding is important, then choose G(08) unis
mostly the state unis.If u just wan a degree then choose 2nd
tier
5) place of study
Places within australia like Adeliade, tasmania, Brisbane
ect offer the same quality education at a cheaper rate and lower
cost of living than capital cities like melbourne or sydney. The
place demographics, culture and people also do matter.
