Health Insurance in the USA

just trying my luck to see if anyone here is working as a state employee in MA and under one of the GIC health plans http://www.mass.gov/gic/ or under such similar state employee health plans?

would pre-existing medical conditions be covered under such plans?

After going thru the US President Election it is my understanding that MASS has its own mandatory health plan. None of the states has that.

ohhh.....anywhere where i can read up more about this?

so it'd mean that if i'm covered under a certain health plan in MA...and i subsequently move to another state....the health plan is likely not to be portable?!

i'm having quite some difficulties trying to figure out the health insurance coverage, retirement plan options and taxation issues in MA and other states. are there any US migration assistance people of whom i can approach here in singapore?
