The only MN-specific proposition that we'll be voting on, is a
constitutional amendment to raise the state sales tax by 0.375% to
fund environmental and cultural programs. Given the current
economic climate, I don't think MN taxpayers are too keen on yet
another tax increase, and I'm predicting that this proposition will
be voted down.
I heard on the news that Prop. 8 in CA is likely to bring
conservative voters out in droves. What's your feeling on that?
It's complicated. *sigh*. I run hot and cold on that one.
There is another Proposition, Prop 2. That animals raised for
food be allowed more room to move in their pens/cages, what have
you.
