Thanks for sharing! How about if I purchase a one way ticket to
go there, and then purchase return tickets when I decide to come
back to Singapore? For example, Qantas from Singapore to Perth, and
then Tiger from Perth-Sin-Perth?
You are welcome!
If I were you, I'd first check with Qantas to find out how much
time they allow between the outbound and return flights on a return
ticket--it may be several weeks or even months. If it is still
valid when your semester ends and you decide to return to
Singapore, then it would be cheaper to purchase a return
ticket initially.
If not, then you could just get a one-way ticket to Perth, and
buy a return ticket for when you want to return to Singapore. If
you're planning on staying in Singapore for a protracted period
(say, over an extended summer break), then you might also want to
check that ticket's maximum time allowable between
outbound and return flights.
