Whoa! That's a princely sum!!! From my experience ( my dogs have flown many times ), they allow 2 pets under 15 pounds each incabin per flight. I always book way i advance to guarantee a spot. US domestic flights charge a $75 fee (one way). When my dogs flew from Japan to Seattle, we paid $275 total.

Thomson Plaza. Spent many, many hours there as a kid, as it was a relatively short walk from my house. I still remember the rubber smokehouse that used to occupy that site:

That is what I am afraid of. Poor cat, but cannot bear to leave her in Melbourne. Hope she will be alright on the flight. BTW, 7/11, ur nick reminds me of an ex classmate. By any chance, R U from Hwa Chong?

Wow! No wonder so much but it really saves you the physical hassle. I ran all those errands on my own. The toughest part was waiting for the flight at Narita. There are no grassy areas to speak of! My dogs couldn't do what they needed to do.

MG, how are your arrangements coming along? You seem to be enjoying Sg. Was it bittersweet entering the country with a US pp?

Used to spend quite a bit of time there as a kid too. I used to always get my hair cut at the Renga Indian barber there.

At least they left the area a park of sorts after the market was demolished...

She's been to SFO (older sis' place) many many times. While she enjoys each visit she makes, she says it's not home. She misses her friends, her independence. I've only been here about 3 years and she's visited twice. She likes it here cause it's warmer than SFO but I have to drive her everywhere. She's getting older and I worry about her well being. But you know, sometimes I wish I were back in Sg. I know it's not the same Sg I left behind more than a decade ago but... I still think of it as home.
