Should be convenient now with the MRT and whatever links. Take MRT to Novena or Toa Payoh and take a bus there. If not, there is a Wee Nam Kee across from Novena Church

I had the $4 "big prawn mee" and my mom had the herbal "ba ku teh" soup this time. Didn't notice the stall selling Thai food, though.

MG, how well have you adjusted to the weather?

Not really. The nights are fairly cool and I can get by sleeping with a fan blowing, but the heat and humidity during the day are pretty oppressive--I'm still taking about 4 showers a day.

Thomson Plaza. Spent many, many hours there as a kid, as it was a relatively short walk from my house. I still remember the rubber smokehouse that used to occupy that site:

Do you remember the hawker center at Lakeview used to have a very popular stall selling prawn mee? It was right next to a stall selling you tiao.

I use to cut my hair at the lakeview market. Siri dewa.

I soooo wanted to live in those flats you know! But my parents decided to get one in s'goon north instead. I used to prowl Thomson Plaza too. I was shocked that Yaohan is no more. Each visit back, we have to eat at Nam Kee. Nam Kee rocks!

My family used to eat Nam Kee on sunday lunch. I also like the banana leaf indian house curry right across sing ming.

there was another chicken rice store in the past. That is nearer to Thomson Plaza. Had visited there a few times cause they gave quite big a portion

Vitamin M can easily be obtained as a byproduct of Vitamin H(usband).
