I really hope they didn't change their policy
about mailing...I renewed mine 7 years ago, and will expire 3
years from now. The consular in SF processed my daughter's
citizenship and mailed to me couple months ago so i thought they
still mailed stuff to you. Such a waste of time and $ if I
have fly from Denver to SF for passport renewal.

Fret not. I'm in the process of getting mine done. For
US$19 the SFO mission is fedexing mine back to me. I had to pay a
US$52 fee for a new passport. They only accept bank drafts or
cashier's checks and the entire process takes up to 8 weeks or so.
