Well, there's always NS. I mean, I can do a CFA in that time,
and earn more money than my peers who have just come out of it. Not
only that, I get life and job experience that I can't get in the
army.
I'm actually ahead of all my classmates in terms of level of study.
While they've just started their degree, I've just finished mine
and am doing an honours year. By the time they get to my level, I'd
have been in the workforce with more job experience than they would
have. If you were a manager, would you hire me, with an honours
degree and 2 years of work experience, or a fresh graduate with no
experience and no honours year?
As with all of you, the only thing I would go back for is the food.
XD But then, food is not that big a deal in concidering whether to
live in Singapore. Holidays are enough to sate my hunger. ^_^
Also, it's not as if Singapore is the safest place in the world to
live. There are other perfectly safe places to live, with much
nicer climates and lower costs of living.
