Fatum SG not yet, but I am seriously screwed ... I have about 80 kilos worth of books still unshipped ...
jetta SG Aiyoh! Cham lah liddat. If you don't mind paying for their service, better head for the Postal Annex and ask for their help with packing and shipping.
Arapahoe SG don't they have book rates which take about 3 weeks to reach sG? that was what i did. take the boat.
udontknowme SG wow...thats A LOT of books.... erm...is there anyone in canada who can keep some of your books for u till the next time u get back...?? i know someone who has kept a box or a few boxes of books in a friend's basement...
Fatum SG yes ... I have already done that .... but there are still loads ... my bedside books alone weights about 15 kilos ...
jetta SG Very hard to part with well-loved books. I'm guilty of the same. Each time we move the movers take one look at our books and go . So did you check into Space A mail? How about Parcel post? Media rate? Book rate? Sorry, just throwing options at you.
jetta SG I mean, services offered by Canada Post. You ah. Try tweaking with their linky? http://www.canadapost.ca/tools/pg/default-e.asp Any which way you look at it, it's going to cost you.
Fatum SG you can't be serious right ? ..... I have more than 150 titles .... sides, I intend to pass them onto my grand children, as I do all my books ...
Meia Gisborn SG If you really can't ship them to Singapore economically... ... then it's time for a book burning party!!
Arapahoe SG thick skill a little put in storage at friends place when u r ready u get to ship back. i did that for 2 years.
Meia Gisborn SG I'm guessing once the doors of the plane swing open at Changi and he gets a blast of the heat and humidity, he'll probably be wondering why he ever left Canada.
Fatum SG that's why I choose CX to stop over in hong kong ... instead of tokyo ... to east the transition a bit ...
