To the US contingent, Happy 4th! How are you guys observing the day? I have to work till 4pm but I'm going to rush back home after to get a good spot on the ball field where my city's holding the fireworks display.

Happy 4th!

Yo bro! LTNS! It's my day off today but I have to work till 4pm tomorrow. What will you be doing on the 4th?

Meia Gisborn SG

Harlo, jetta! Indeed, LTNS. Hope all's well with you.

Eh? How come so on one, have to work tomolo? Shocked

As for tomorrow, I'll be having a few friends over in the evening, and then we'll be heading to the sports grounds nearby to watch the fireworks display. As usual, I'll be bringing my digicam and taking some time exposures of the display, so watch out for them in a separate thread soon! Very Happy

Acutally I'm kinda bummed that I'm not working today. I have a couple of returning customers. I hope my co-workers won't be tempted and ring up the sale for themselves. I was supposed to have been working today but my boss didn't check last week's schedule as she was doing up this week's. She didn't realise that she had slated me to work for 10 days straight and that's a no-no.

Meia Gisborn SG

Do you have any kind of system in place at work to ensure that the commission on a sale is properly attributed to the salerperson who actually closed the deal, and not the one who merely rang up the transaction?

jetta SG

In a word: No. I've had two transactions that I know of, taken from me.

it's time to jump ship and look for a new job jetta ...
