It definitely won't be a bad thing to gain some work experience
before furthering your studies. If I had known, I would go out to
work for a few years before doing my degree...but I didn't know any
better, and everybody followed the herd instinct.
I know it can get pretty lonely and down, and I hope things get
more cheerful for you. How about gathering with friends/ Asian
counterparts who aren't running away down south?
I have my coat and corduroy pants, and SO decided to pad on thicker
sweaters/fleece with his parka. We did have a look at the Nautical
shop (at Marina Sq), and also found winter coats under the Columbia
brand at "Outdoors" shop....they start at $350+. It's definitely
easier to buy for women, coz the UK/Europe brands have unleashed
their autumn/winter collections upon us...if only we can wear them
here.
