[/b]Poor MG. Time to move to Seattle? We're going to have another scorcher today, apparently it'll be the hottest day of the year. We shall see...
jetta SG Not at all. MG's deep in the continent, I'm on the west coast. Right now it's 917am with a temp of 89F. So far so good.
littlestream SG FREAKING Hot Hot Hot~~~~~~~ We hit a high of 43 deg C (factored in humid index). I got a headache and it carry forward to this morning!!!! Winter!!! Where/when is winter????? And today is gonna be another hot one. High of 36 deg C and that is not including the humid index!!! And looks like it's gonna stay this way for the rest of the week??? What IS happening????? I tot we ARE the great white north?????
udontknowme SG temp. in beijing without looking at humidity and crappy air and whatnot is 35 degress celsius. and boy..the air is SOOO bad. its worse than singapore in 1997.
Meia Gisborn SG Hope you're feeling better today, LS. Try to stay indoors as much as possible, and drink plenty of water. The irony is, come March, you'll probably be wishing for the weather we're having now.
littlestream SG Thanks, MG. I guess as long as I'm indoors, I should be alright. We drove up to Lake Simcoe yesterday to scout for picnic spot. Found a couple of beaches with facilities. So, we are going up there again this weekend. Actually, the only thing I am excited about the picnic is the prepration. The sandwiches, the snacks and the barang barang. I doubt I am doing any sun exposure sports. And you? Any summer plans?
jetta SG Piangz, last night was so hot, you could hear the collective drone of the neighbours’ ac units chugging along.
Meia Gisborn SG How far of a drive is Lake Simcoe from TO? Will your family and you be staying overnight there? No concrete plans for the rest of summer. Depending on how the situation in SG goes, I might have to make a trip back there on short notice. Assuming the best, there's a strong possibility of another visit to Seattle.
littlestream SG There are just too many lakes around here. This one is just about an hour away north. I like the drive on the secondary highway 'cos I get to see the farm animals, the corn fields, fruit farms but I ain't going fruit picking. Once we passed a turkey farm....oh man......a field of whites. And no, we will not stay over. I await my sister's visit so we can do some side trips. I was thinking of Quebec, maybe Michigan or the New York shopping trip. Erm, we have very good Chinese operated tour agencies here. Their packages are really good deals. Even ang mohs now go on their tours. Oh, hope everything's well, MG. I didn't wanna probe so I didn't ask but I did think about it. Take care, yah. Woo.......a trip out West again!!!! Envy!!!!
