Yup, I'm finally in Seattle. Got in at about 11:45 a.m. local
time after a particularly arduous flight seated next to an uncaring
mother and her two screaming kids.
It was raining when we arrived, and it's still raining now. Some
call it gloomy, but I don't mind rain. Keeps everything nice and
clean.
The rental vehicle we were initially given had pulsing brakes
which, while not a road hazard, made for an uncomfortable ride when
coming to a stop. We returned the vehicle and the rental agency set
us up with a better, newer vehicle (a 2006 Dodge Neon SXT). Drives
great, but...
...the traffic here is RIDICULOUS. Once we were off the freeways,
we spent more time stopped in traffic than actually moving.
Fortunately, the sanity level amongst drivers here is pretty
decent, and I did not see any middle fingers flashed.
No images for now. Will report back later.
