REAL CAPTURE THAT BLOKE EVERYONE'S TALKING ABOUT
River Plate striker Gonzalo Higuain - unknown to the Gossip Column
six months ago but now in the newspapers more than Bird Flu
(whatever happened to bird flu?) - has apparently agreed a move to
Real Madrid, with the Spanish club claiming to have 'beaten
Chelski' to his signature.
The 18-year-old is believed to be on the verge of signing a
seven-year contract with Real, and has expressed delight at the
prospect of a move.
"All players there are great," he pronounced, obviously forgetting
our very own David Beckham.
SO, WHO WILL CHELSKI TURN TO?
Having seemingly missed out on the South American But Maybe A Bit
French striker, Chelski will apparently look for the next best
thing - a Welsh defender.
The Daily Mirror claim that Southampton are prepared to sell Gareth
Bale for £7m in January, with all of the big four set to enter a
bidding war for his services.
'Left back Bale, 17, has been watched by Manchester United, Chelsea
and Liverpool this season while Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is
also a fan of the Welsh whiz-kid' says the Mirror.

I currently got both Higuain and Gareth Bale in my team.
