Yes, i was involved as a young child & many of these harry potter thing etc are very dangerous. Ppl with weak minds or easily influenced will be overcome & might even start dabbling in occult themselves. I advise certain ppl not to read these bks bcos they might be hooked. Just the same as p0rn etc. Why so many drug addicts? Why some easily influenced & cant get out while others could? I hate it when some groups of ppl say it's ok for kids when they dont even know what they're talking abt or maybe they know but purposely suppress the truth to destroy young minds? I am not involved now. Thk God for His grace.

[HH: Ya, Christians should look forward to His coming again but not to the extent of trying to interpret every world event as a sign God has given us. To be a Christian, we should learn live like a Christians in a Christ-like manner so that in us, the world, your non-believer friends can see Him. We are supposed to be the salt and light of the world. So try to live like that. Btw, I can't feel any love from christians in a particular forum. I am quite disappointed. So sad, they have too much pride (perhaps spiritual pride)to get in their way to show that God first love us. What I see here is often condemning and critisicisms. There is Very Often negative comments than positive comments. I'm wondering is this what they learn by being a christian?

Not many Christians living like Christians anyway in S'pore. & i am not saying i m holy man. We have our faults but some ppl just too much. Smile Bcos when we lose sight of Jesus' second coming, we lose focus on God & live for ourselves. His 2nd coming is very impt to Christian doctrine & faith. Bcos when a Christian has no hope of resurrection, he will live like a demon & refuse to share gospel or love to others. Bcos all me, mine, myself first. Kiasuism & kiasism. Bcos no 2nd coming what to them! No judgement. No hell. No heaven. No accountability for unsaved frens & relatives. No God! Even Christ Jesus said in a parable abt certain servants who starts to get drunk & beat up other servants bcos they thought the master isnt coming yet soon. So what did Jesus the Master say when He comes back to find these servants doing such things? Pls read for yourself in the gospel We know what happens. Many churches dont dare to preach such sermons bcos they will get "flames" & lose "customers"! Smile

[HH:If you interested in end times thingy, go to other forum but not this sgforums. People here are either quite reluntant to say about it or they are totally ignorant about it and think that they are always right to the exent of abusing their comments. In other forums, even if they rebuke you, very often they rebuke nicely and in a way not to put you down. But there may be some people (not very usual actually) like here who will, well, you know....]

Well that's why started my own forum. Anyway, ppl have diff views. So rebukes will happen but like what u say it's the tone that matters. Bcos i remember Aesop's fables abt persuasion is better than force. Bcos the harder (the wind) u force the more the man wont take off his coat. Well, certain english satanic elements try to subvert the church to do their bidding. All for one world govt, one world religion, New World Order. So be careful what ppl say to u. Rick could just be misled like Bush. But who can tell? Only God knows our innermost motives. Being number 1 always goes to someone's head. I pray that he wont become too proud like the devil! Smile

Very likely but nobody can tell exactly what will happen. God could shorten or lengthen, giving grace to many more ppl or withdrawing completely bcos of utter rebellion.

I am sorry but may i know where u got all these prophecies from? If it's from the quran, i dont know much abt it. Christians can only quote from the biblical prophecies found in the bible. Our version is very diff from yours.

1) The Messiah according to us is Jesus Christ. Of course he cant be found yet bcos not here yet. He had come a first time but He will come again a 2nd time-this time for judgement. His 2nd coming will be a surprise to all of us, like what u say in your version, He only appears at the emergence of one-eyed demon called "Dajjal"-BUT in our version, He will only appear in the darkest hour of the night, before the Antichrist (a demonic man) & False Prophet come in a pre trib scenario.

2) We also have Gog & Magog but they r not in the south but in the NORTH. & they r not just shrewd merchants but military power as well. They will command a huge army to sweep down on the middle east, destroying many countries & ppl. & finally try to destroy Jerusalem.

3) In our bible, we dont see the sun rising from the west to the east at the end times. We do have the sun becoming very hot & scorching ppl on earth with sores. It is beginning to happen already, dont u think so?

4) I am sorry but i am not against islam or quran bcos u have the right of opinion. But according to the bible prophecies, palestine cant gain control over israel.

Nearly all religions in the world have a certain end time or apocalpytic scenario. U go ask buddhist, muslim, taoist, soka, etc. Unless as i said u're a secular humanist or atheist. But judging even from atheistic viewpt, have u seen the damage done to the earth by humans & scientists etc in the papers recently? Even LKY remarked in amazement. Pls go check the ST. Thanks.
