are there even any established policies for fuel hedging? for
downward trend of business pax should be accounted for by the
recession cycle.
I heard that aviation fuel companies only allow airlines to
hedge when the market is on a upward spiral(the rise of jet fuel
not too long ago is akin to this)... Some airlines are stuck with
paying the price they paid maybe a year ago(which was
sky-high)...
