I am living the national pledge everyday, not just at a certain
time, date or hour.
A sacred pledge we vowed daily since our formative years to our
society, with honour, bound by our words and daily actions, a
bond amongst those and us who call ourselves Singaporeans
with pride, to share national sorrows, difficulties as well as
joys, progress and happiness as one united people, descendants of
those whom had been left to die by kings and rulers, yet
striked back with resilience and fortitude, rising above others and
became an unique human species that amazed the world.
Please respect the national pledge. It is above politics. It is
who we are, regardless of whatever we are in life.
